What fun things are on the “island itinerary”?
True to form, Central Arizona is working to make your mechanical
fantasies come to life.

Friday morning’s “Fantasy Tour of Yesteryear’s Iron” – the tried
and true junkyard tour is available for those people who live
and die looking for their fantasy parts.

Alternatively, we’re sure that there have been some firemen
fantasies out there (men and trucks, oh my!). If you don’t go
to the junkyard, join us as we tour the “Hall of Flame” (www.hallofflame.org)
and get you all hot and bothered! As part of this trip, you’ll
get to enjoy Phoenix via the Light Rail and actually get to see
parts of the city that you may not have known.

We all join back together at scrumptious noon meal for a Phoenix
favorite of the “Old Spaghetti Factory.”

Friday night’s “Flight Fantasy” – We’re headed to Rustler’s
Rooste for some good old-fashioned grub. This Phoenix favorite
will also be the perfect backdrop for watching famous Phoenix
sunsets and the big planes as they approach the airport.

Saturday’s Amazing “Car-Tiki Car Show” – What would be an
invitational be without a car show?!?

Saturday night’s “Grand Fantasia Gala” banquet with exciting
silent auction, awards, and comedic entertainment. If years
past are any indicator and you haven’t been tempted to find that
special something, the silent auction is there to tempt you—you
may just have to give in! One of our
members, Lou Dellera, will be making our sides split with his
own special brand of comedic talent. Lastly, it’s
our opportunity to give out the great awards for the weekend.
